HNE Introduces New PPO Products to its Fully-insured Line of Business

At HNE, we understand how hard it is to offer broad medical benefits that are affordable, especially in the face of rising health care costs. We also understand that your medical benefits are very important. After all, that’s one of the most effective tools that you have to attract and keep your most talented employees. We work closely with local employers to find ways to fulfill this challenge—such as developing new insurance products that reflect a company’s specific needs.

One of our latest innovations in this effort is the introduction of four new PPO products available for an effective date of October 1, 2007. Two new PPO plans that use the HNE network now will be available for employer groups looking for a more affordable PPO for employees who live locally. Still looking for a PPO with a national network? We’ve got that, too. Our existing PHCS PPO products also have been revamped so that they have copayment structures that are better aligned with some of our existing HMO products.

We’ll be referring to our new PPO products with the HNE network as HNE PPO. What’s more – we’re working hard to bring new providers into this network – providing options that our current PPO and POS products don’t offer. Our two new plans with this network option are:
