Change of Heart

Health New England, in cooperation with Noble Hospital, would like to introduce you to an innovative lifestyle modification program for patients with coronary artery disease. This year long program that combines diet, exercise, group activities and family involvement, is under the direction of Reed Shnider, M.D., one of our network cardiologists. Initially this program is available only to our members who are State employees.

If you have questions about Change of Heart or have patients (HNE members and others) who may benefit from aggressive lifestyle modification, please call:

      Dr. Thomas Ebert at
      413-787-4000, x 3025 or,

      Dr. Shnider
(or his program administrator Cindy Freebairn) at
      413-568-2811, x 5621.

HNE will pay 90% of the program's cost for GIC members (State employees insurance). Other HNE members or your patients with other insurance may work out individual payment arrangements.
