We Have a Request!

As you know, Health New England has many programs and services that require direct contact with our members. Our population identification is based on claims data and enrollment status. However, we don’t have a direct mechanism for finding out when a member dies. In many cases, the member may be deceased, but is still in our system as active and enrolled because no one has sent in a disenrollment form for that member. In order to ensure that we don’t inappropriately outreach to these members, we would appreciate it if you would notify us when someone on your Health New England panel dies. Simply call Health New England’s Enrollment Department at 413-787-4000 and they will contact the employer group to request a disenrollment form. Thank you for your understanding and assistance.
